We took two of our FM's "All Christmas" from the day after Thanksgiving through the Christmas weekend. These programs (The Wonders of Christman and The Music of Christmas) fit in nicely and were an easy sell (for a premium) to our local chambers of commerce.

We got an overwhelming response to the program. I was actually on a sales call one day when the client stopped our conversaton and told me it had to wait until after the Reindeer Races. Don't anticipate having any trouble selling them again next year.

Reindeer Races is great programming. Listeners love it and it is so easy to sell. Make your prospect a demo of their business sponsoring a race, burn it on a CD and play it during the sales call. We sold it out in one morning! During our radio station Christmas party, we played the races and the staff had a chance to win some cool prizes!
